Legal Source of Text Online

Project Gutenberg allows free downloads of their material. Many classic texts reside on their website. I have benefitted very much from their 'service,' since I am a student of higher education and the cost of printed material just keeps rising.

Here's how you get to Project Gutenberg's eBook/eText site:

Project Gutenberg Organization Website

Many Volunteer staff and proofreaders from all over - make it possible for the Project Gutenberg Organization to continue to bring classic and other text materials to readers all over the world FOR FREE!

This means, of course, that Project Gutenberg accepts donations!

They will accept donations through the PayPal Payment Processor. If you would like to donate but don't have a PayPal online Payment Processor account, go here:

(*NOTE...This is NOT a direct link to Project Gutenberg's donation account, so please, don't 'donate' through this banner/link...you'll only be donating to ME instead of to the Project Gutenberg organization...mind you, I will accept donations to MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT, if you're really feeling extra generous! LOL - After all, I am a poor student!).

Sign up for PayPal and start accepting credit card payments instantly.

If you'd like to donate to Project Gutenberg to help keep the site operational and the texts a-coming, please make sure you go directly to the Project Gutenberg site:

Project Gutenberg Organization Website

Their website has an easy-to-locate 'donation button' right in their left-hand column onsite.

They accept PayPal as an online payment method, but also accept, "Network for Good" online payment options, as well as Checks, Money Orders, and a few other payment methods. Details are on the Project Gutenberg Organization Website right where you see the PalPal logo in the left-hand column.

And with that explained, we can move on to grab a coffee/beverage and start reading...

...that is - as soon as I've decided what excerpts to start posting!

Suggestions welcome - do you want some 'Frankenstein' for discussion, some poetry, more ancient works, philosophy, or exactly what?
